Do you require a deposit or charge a fee to check for availability?
Absolutely NOT! Although some DVC rental companies will charge up to a $98.00 fee for this service, we will check availability free of charge with no obligations. We are at your service and are here to help you make your vacation experience with DVC Land as pleasurable as possible.
We do ask for a $100.00 booking deposit on the day you reserve your villa. This will be refunded to you if the renters find no availability for your stay. The $100.00 deposit is non-refundable once it has been reserved. You will then be required to pay the remainder of your deposit ($8.00/point minus $100.00) upon the receipt of your reservation number. This number may be used to view your reservation at Disney’s website. REMEMBER that checking for availability is FREE and the deposit is due once you are ready to reserve specific dates.
What is your procedure if there are no available rooms at our requested resort(s) during our specific dates of travel? If there are no rooms available during the time we plan to travel
Once we receive your request, we will check promptly for availability with Disney Vacation Club Member Services. If those dates or partial dates have been checked and are booked, we will automatically return your request with NO AVAILABILITY. With your approval, we will be happy to continue our search for other travel dates, resorts or villa categories. Keep in mind that all availability or lack thereof is the same for all DVC members or rental services.
Is there a way I can calculate the cost of renting a DVC villa on my own?
EASY! By using our online points calculator, first input when and where you would like to stay and the calculator will do the rest. Simply multiply the amount of points by $14.00 per point ($15.00/point for reservations below 50 percent) to determine your total cost.
Is there a possibility for one to rent using less than 50 points or for just 1 night?
Of course! We would be happy to help you book any type of DVC property! As mentioned above, there is a charge of $15.00/point for anything less than 50 points.
Is full payment due up front?
There is NO full payment due up front! The $100.00 booking deposit is DUE once you are ready to book the Disney Villa with us. You may pay this amount (via credit card, PayPal or ACH bank transfers) which will be refunded if your reservation cannot be secured.
What are my payment options as I proceed to rent with you?
We accept Visa, Master Card, PayPal, or ACH bank transfers. We will even accept Discover or American Express for those who have a PayPal account.
Is there a possibility to cancel or change a reservation?
No. All sales are final. All DVC members’ points expire within their Use Year if not used and cancellation puts the member at risk of losing the use of their points. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect you from any unforeseen circumstances that may occur during your time of travel.
Can you help me purchase Disney Park passes?
Yes! We can definitely assist you in purchasing Disney Park passes! We can have your tickets waiting for you at your resort or Disney will ship them directly to your home. At the time of check-in, you can add your park passes to your Key to the World Cards for extra convenience.
Can I have groceries delivered to my villa during my stay?
Absolutely! You may choose from over 4,800 items through GardenGrocer.com. Once you have made this order, the groceries will be delivered to your Disney Resort on the day of your arrival. Your groceries will be stored at the resort’s Bell Service until you contact them directly. Once you arrive, you must call Bell Services via your in-room phone where a Disney cast member will deliver your groceries right to your room.
Am I able to contact Disney directly to make changes to my reservation?
No. We will be happy to help you in any way. Only Disney Vacation Club members have access to DVC Member Services. Feel free to contact us for any changes or special requests to be added to your reservation.
How will I know my vacation has been confirmed?
We will send you a confirmation number that can be used at Disney’s website to verify your reservation.
Can I still use Disney Online check-in?
Yes! You can check-in as far as 60 days in advance to your arrival date (which we recommend) and take note of any special requests (room/view preference and any special events or celebrations).
How early can I check-in on my day of arrival?
The standard check-in time at all DVC Resorts is 4:00 p.m. You are welcome to check-in earlier and the resort will gladly hold your luggage until your room is available. Upon check-in, you will receive your Key to the World card and begin your dream vacation with Mickey!
Can I use the Disney Dining Plan if I rent points?
Absolutely! You can add the Disney Dining Plan to your reservation no later than 30 days prior to your arrival. Disney requires that all members in your party partake in the same plan throughout your stay.
Will there be Housekeeping and will it be the same as staying at a hotel?
When staying fewer than 8 days, as a guest of a DVC member, you’ll get a “trash and tidy” day on the 4th day of your stay. For staying 8 days or more, DVC members get a full cleaning on the 4th day and a “trash and tidy” day on day 8. There will be a fee for any additional housekeeping services.
Additional Full Cleaning Rates:
Studio – $30.00 for each day requested
One-Bedroom – $45.00 for each day requested
Two-Bedroom – $60.00 for each day requested
Three-Bedroom – $75.00 for each day requested
Additional Trash and Towel Rates:
Studio – $15.00 for each day requested
One-Bedroom – $20.00 for each day requested
Two-Bedroom – $25.00 for each day requested
Three-Bedroom – $35.00 for each day requested
Will I be charged for extra consumables such as in-room coffee, toiletries, laundry soap, etc., during my stay?
Items such as laundry soap, coffee and toiletries are provided in limited quantities upon arrival and replenished (free of charge) only when the room is serviced by housekeeping. Prices are as follows according to 2014:
Laundry soap (single load box) – $3.00
Towel pack – $5.00
Toiletries (bar soap, shampoo, etc.) – $5.00
Coffee service – $3.00
Other consumables that are replaced as needed with no charge to the guest include facial tissue, toilet tissue, paper towels, liquid dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and paper/plastic dinnerware (studio villa).
Will there be laundry facilities available at the resorts, although I will be staying at a Deluxe Studio Villa? If so, is there a charge?
Most villas do include a washer and dryer, but for those staying in a DVC Studio villa may not. You will have free access to public facilities at your resort. These resorts have washer and dryers on site for members at no additional cost. Keep in mind that the use is on a first-come, first-served basis. You will want to ask where the washer and dryers are located when you arrive since the locations may vary at each resort. For instance, Saratoga Springs and Old Kay West’s public washer and dryers are found near the pool complexes.
Note: Some washer/dryer units have coin slots, but can be operated without inserting money.
