The Force is strong this year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ 2014 Star Wars Weekends. Kicking off on May Fourth, also known as Star Wars Day, and continuing through June 15th, these weekends are a dream come true for Jedi, Sith, Rebels, and anyone else who thrives in a galaxy far, far away.
Star Wars themed events abound throughout the park, and there is a little something for everyone, from the newest Padawans, to the most experienced Jedi Masters. A Storm Trooper will greet you at the gate, and Jedi Mickey, Darth Vader Goofy, and many of your other favorites will be joining the festivities with special character dining just for these weekends. Older family members can enjoy the Jedi Training academy and get autographs from the stars. There is also incredible merchandise exclusive for Star Wars Weekends. While you are here, try your hand at Star Wars trivia, watch the Storm Trooper Patrol strut through the park, and keep an eye out for Boba Fett as he tries to catch his latest criminal. As the sun sets, you will not want to miss the Symphony in the Stars, which is a fireworks and music show created to display the magic and majesty of Star Wars.
As if this were not enough, Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker himself, will be making daily appearances in the Legend of the Force Motorcade.
