Kick Off Spring at the 22nd Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival!
Are you sick of snow? Want to escape to a lush paradise? Then you won’t want to miss the 2015 International Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot! Join us between March 4th and May 17th for a host of Spring-themed activities and bask in a profusion of blooms throughout the park.
Stroll through the gardens and check out the topiaries of your favorite Disney characters, including Frozen’s Ana and Elsa. Look for butterflies and relax in the Health and Healing Garden in Future World, stop by the Shakespeare Garden near the UK Pavilion, and don’t forget to get your Garden Passport stamped at each place you visit. After the sun goes down, the lights come on, giving the topiary and play gardens an entirely different look!
Even the menu reflects the tastes of Spring! Guests can snack and sip on internationally themed tasty bites and beverages featuring fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the World Showcase. Just look for the outdoor kitchens.
On weekends, aspiring gardeners and veteran green thumbs can improve their skills at one of several seminars led by Disney’s own gardeners. The Garden Rocks Concert Series also takes place on the weekends, with a variety of bands performing on the America Gardens Theatre stage. At 3PM, head over to the Port of Entry to see Disney chefs demonstrate how to make some of the special festival treats. Themed activities will also be offered as part of the “Fun Fresh Weekends” series, including:
March 13-17 – Spring into Spring Weekend (St. Patrick’s Day)
March 27-29 – Art in the Garden Weekend
April 17-22 – Earth Day Weekend
April 24-26 – Florida Fresh Weekend
